适用范围：This clause of Part 1 is replaced by the following.This International Standard deals with the safety of electric kitchen machines for householdand similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V.Appliances intended for normal household and similar use and that may also be used bylaymen in shops, in light industry and on farms, are within the scope of this standard.However, if the appliance is intended to be used professionally to process food forcommercial consumption, the appliance is not considered to be for household and similar useonly.As far as is practicable, this standard deals with the common hazards presented byappliances which are encountered by all persons in and around the home. However, ingeneral, it does not take into account– the use of appliances by young children or infirm persons without supervision;– playing with the appliance by young children.
